BODY P340 PLASTOFIX – plastic primer with superior adhesion
BODY P340 PLASTOFIX is a transparent one-component adhesion-promoting primer developed for automotive plastic parts. It increases the adhesion of acrylic primers and topcoats to plastic and metal substrates, making it ideal for bumpers, spoilers and other exterior components that require reliable paint adhesion.
Main benefits of BODY P340 PLASTOFIX
The product is supplied ready for use, requires no thinning and is easy to apply in thin, uniform coats. It dries quickly, allowing fast repair cycles, while the transparent film does not affect the final colour. Strong adhesion reduces the risk of peeling and chipping even under demanding conditions.
Applications and use
BODY P340 PLASTOFIX is suitable for most automotive plastic parts (excluding pure PE) as well as stainless steel, aluminium, bare and galvanised steel. After proper cleaning and sanding, apply 1–2 light coats with short flash-off times, then overcoat with any HB BODY primer or topcoat system.
