HB BODY P960 2K Wash Primer — Professional Acid Adhesion Primer
HB BODY P960 2K Wash Primer is a fast-drying chromate-free wash primer for pretreatment of metallic surfaces before further priming and coating. It offers strong adhesion and high anticorrosion protection, which makes it useful for professional preparation of difficult metal substrates.
The product is especially suitable for galvanized steel, aluminium, stainless steel, zinc-coated surfaces and bare steel. It requires no thinner, is applied in thin coats and allows quick progression to the next stage when used according to the recommended process.

Applications
BODY P960 2K is recommended for pretreatment of metallic surfaces before further priming and coating where strong adhesion and corrosion protection are required. It is especially useful on substrates where the performance of later layers depends on proper metal preparation.

How to Use
The surface must be dry, clean and free from grease and contaminants. The manufacturer recommends sanding the substrate with a suitable grit, cleaning with 770 NORMAL or 771 FAST ANTISIL degreaser, removing dust, then mixing the primer with H731 Activator in a 1:1 ratio and applying thin layers. No thinner is required.
- Prepare and clean the surface.
- Remove grease, contaminants and dust.
- Mix 1 part P960 with 1 part H731 Activator.
- No thinner is required.
- Apply 1–2 thin coats.
- Observe 10–20 min flash-off at 23°C.
- Recoat with HB BODY 1K / 2K primers from 20–30 min up to 24 hours.
- After 24 hours, light sanding is required.
