Novbytkhim Euro is a water-based acrylic paint for galvanised (zinc-coated) iron. It forms a durable, weatherproof and water-resistant coating that withstands UV radiation, temperature swings and rainfall. It does not fade in the sun and does not peel.
What this paint is for
Galvanised metal gradually loses its protective zinc layer — dull patches appear first, then rust. This paint restores the appearance and creates a fresh protective barrier at the same time, multiplying the service life of the roof.

Important restriction
Do not paint new galvanised sheets. Fresh from the mill they often carry a thin film of oil and the surface is too smooth — the paint will not hold. The manufacturer recommends painting galvanised surfaces that have been in service for at least one year: by then the oil has weathered off and the surface has roughened slightly.
How to apply
Surface preparation
Clean the surface of dust, dirt, grease and flaking old coatings. Galvanised surfaces must be degreased — use a solvent or an alkaline cleaner. Then rinse with clean water and let it dry completely. Remove rust by hand or mechanically and treat the area with an anti-corrosion primer suitable for galvanised metal.
Application
Stir the paint to a uniform consistency before use. It may be thinned with water if needed — no more than 10%. Apply by brush, roller or spray gun in 2 coats, allowing drying between them.
Weather conditions
Work at +10 °C or above, in dry weather — no rain, fog or strong wind.
How much you need
Consumption by brush in one coat is 50–100 g/m². In two coats, a 10.5 kg bucket covers roughly 50–100 m² depending on surface roughness.

Storage
Store and transport in tightly sealed containers at not below 0 °C. The frost-resistant formula withstands 5 freeze-thaw cycles down to −20 °C during transport. Keep out of reach of children.
Frequently asked questions
Can new galvanised sheeting be painted?
No. New sheets carry factory oil and are too smooth for the paint to hold. Wait at least a year for the surface to weather naturally.
Is a primer required?
On rust-free galvanised metal a primer is not essential — thorough degreasing is enough. On rusted areas and on ferrous metal an anti-corrosion primer is mandatory.
How do I clean the tools?
With water, immediately after work, before the paint sets.
How many buckets will a roof take?
10.5 kg covers roughly 50–100 m² in two coats. Smooth surfaces use less, rough or porous ones more.
