HB BODY P960 Wash Primer Spray — Professional Acid Adhesion Primer
BODY P960 Wash Primer Spray is a chromate-free wash primer for pretreatment of metallic surfaces before further priming and painting. It offers strong adhesion and anticorrosion protection, making it useful for professional preparation of difficult metal substrates.
The product is especially suitable for galvanized steel, aluminium, stainless steel and zinc-coated surfaces. It dries quickly, applies easily and does not require sanding when recoated within the recommended time window.

Applications
BODY P960 is recommended for pretreatment of metallic substrates before further priming and coating where strong adhesion and corrosion protection are required. It is especially useful on difficult metal surfaces where later coating system performance depends on proper substrate preparation.

How to Use
The surface must be dry, clean and free of grease and contaminants. The manufacturer recommends sanding the substrate with a suitable grit, cleaning with 770 NORMAL or 771 FAST ANTISIL degreaser, removing dust, then shaking the aerosol for 2–3 minutes and applying 1–2 thin coats from 20–30 cm distance.
- Prepare and clean the surface.
- Remove grease, contaminants and dust.
- Shake well for 2–3 minutes after the agitator ball starts to rattle.
- Apply 1–2 thin coats from 20–30 cm.
- Observe 5 minutes flash-off between coats at 23°C.
- Allow 10–20 minutes at 23°C before further steps.
- Recoat with HB BODY 1K / 2K primers within 20–30 minutes to 24 hours.
- After use, turn the can upside down and spray briefly to clean the nozzle.
